A Little Taste is based on the accidental slip up of telling someone you love them too early, even if you do really mean it.
This cover was created to capture a moment in time of young love and to portray the admission of this love early on in the relationship after it slipped from his lips.
If I Leave In The Night(Acoustic)[2020] - SingleThis cover was created to capture the darkness of the night and the feeling of wanting to leave whilst also capturing the light and the reason to stay. 
If I Leave In The Night is based on the idea of not feeling like you belong somewhere but still finding that reason to stay in the darkness of it all.

I Wanted Just Enough[2024] - Single
I Wanted Just Enough is based on the idea of being content with what you have and not longing for more after once recieving more than you could cope with.
This cover was designed to capture the art of living peacefully and without too much instead of having more and being overwhelmed by the brightness of it. 

From 2022-2023, Matthew battled and beat a type of lymphatic cancer and this song was an outlet of how he survived recieving more than he wanted and how he is thankful for being free from it now.

This cover captures his journey from a darker time to a brighter place ahead, using his guitar to help with that transition by having an outlet to express how he was feeling during that time as his music became his own personal therapy. Keep Your Heart Aside is a collection of songs that are based on Matthew’s journey in life over the past few years whilst he was living in China and the emotions he went through when he was there.
