Animalations

A collection of animal animations that depict how animals act in their natural habit.

From underwater animals swimming and diving, to birds dancing to catch their pray, follow along and learn more about how animals act differently from one another and how they live.

Disco Colour Wh(Eel)

Fun Fact: Eels swim up and down in this motion for a multitude of reasons including migration for egg fertilization, as they travel from freshwater habitats to explore areas of mass spawning in the open ocean.

Fish Don’t Blow Bubbles!

Fun Fact: Fish do not actually blow bubbles like this, as they breathe on the oxygen in the water that enters through their mouths and passes through their gills, rather than swallowing air like we do.

The Little Bird Dance

Fun Fact: Birds actually do this action with their feet in a pattern that tricks worms into thinking it is raining so that they will come up out of the soil so the birds can eat them.

Personally, I just think they look like they are testing out a new breakdancing technique!
