Society as a whole has improved a lot over the years in terms of female stereotypes. One thing that seems to be consistent however is the lack of female representation in male dominated careeers.
With only one-third of scientists, 39% of politicians and less than 10% of pilots being female, these areas stood out most as areas that needed more representation through these informational booklets.
By using drawing techniques such as shading, perspective and tone, I captured a stylised yet still realistic portrayal of these women from the past and their history that led women to be able to express themselves in their truest form.
The booklets portray the importance of not leaving the fight for change in the past by showcasing modern examples of females in the careers as well as examples from the past.
